Why do I need these? Doesn't my Rivian come equipped to handle tire changes, rotations, or new installations at Discount Tire, my preferred shop, or even at home?

Question: My Rivian came with a spare tire kit, which includes the OEM tire change setup featuring a large plastic lifting device (puck). Why should I invest in your magnetic jack puck kit? Am I overlooking something?

Response: You still need our kit. Rivian provides a single tool for one wheel/tire, but it's a subpar solution—your Rivian needs four tools for proper tire changes. Rivian's "Eiffel Tower Contraption" is bulky and cumbersome. Many prefer our kit for its simplicity and effectiveness.

Response: Jack pucks have been around for years in the Tesla and Corvette world. Rivian was the first to provide a jack adapter type product.  We just built a better one and were first with a magnetically coupled jack puck.

Our pucks fit any bottle jack with a top hat diameter of 1.3" or less. We recommend the "Big Red 10 Ton Bottle Jack by Torin," available on Amazon. Its higher tonnage lifts an R1 vehicle effortlessly, and the beveled edge ensures precise self-centering of the puck on the jack. The Torin jack fits perfectly under the R1T's rear seat or in the R1S's rear compartment, making it ideal for roadside tire changes.

Note: The Big Red 10T lifts the front two wheels with one puck. For the rear, use either two stacked pucks, RV jack pads, or a 2" block to accommodate the additional suspension travel.
