Q: Is this a group buy or a pre-order?
A: Great question. This is a pre-order, not a group buy. In a group buy, production doesn't begin until a set number of orders are placed. In our case, we've already placed the order and are actively cutting metal. Whether you pre-order or not, the product is coming.
Advantage of pre-ordering: Your set will ship within 24 hours of arrival.
Q: Will you offer a kit of four (4) pucks with a case, like you do for Rivian owners?
A: ¡Yes! A limited number of 4-piece kits with storage cases will be available in the first production run. Expected price: $210.00 with free expedited shipping (in effect buy three get one for free along with a padded case) across all 50 U.S. states, which is the same price from the original Rivian kit orders. Sample case below for reference only.
Q: Why is the GMX version priced higher than the Rivian version?
A: Because it’s a brand-new product line. With the Rivian pucks, it took 18 months and thousands of pieces on a single order to drive costs down. We're not there yet with GMX and that will take time. But as volume increases, we'll pass those savings on to you—just like we did before.
